Woodarena
Woodarena is a furniture store that designs and sells ready to assemble furniture, kitchen appliances, decoration, home accessories, and various other goods and home services. I spent a large amount of my time and weekends working closely with the client and a small team of designers and developers to build the vision.

Brand Idendity
I also had a lead role in shaping the overall visual identity of the brand - I defined the color palette, picked the fonts and imagery, and defined the overall style.

Web design
As the company connects employers with candidates the website has two home pages - one for each side. I designed each of these pages to highlight the benefits for their respective visitor as well as explain the process and let them know how to get started.
After the initial launch I was brought back for more projects to update existing and design new pages for the website.
Conclusion
Due to the flawless collaboration, after the design hardly any revisions were required, neither in information architecture nor in visual design. As a learning: Make sure to really (I mean, really really) get the expectations of the group right and to clearly communicate the exact goal of the individual exercises – I thought I did so, but I felt a lack of understanding here and there.

Since I don‘t know all the technical details of building a Wordpress site, some concepts were way more complex to implement, respectively way more complex to maintain by the client. Generally – and as I‘m able to do so – I would prefer to keep up the fast pace of the process by developing the website myself and being able to adjust little details without too much effort.
